Brighton Marine

Tenant Electronic Handbook

Insurance Protection

This section provides information regarding insurance requirements at Brighton Marine Health Center

During the Lease term, each Tenant, including Tenant’s contractors, must provide proper insurance indemnification to the Executive Office.  Tenants are required to have general liability and workers compensation.  Contractors of Tenant’s are required to have general liability, workers compensation and automobile coverage insurance.  Any Tenant or Contractor who refuses to provide proper insurance is subject to revocation of the property.  Tenants will not be permitted to move into the building and contractors/vendors will not be permitted to work in the building without the required certificate of insurance.

Certificates evidencing the existence and amount of such insurance and renewals or binders must be delivered to the Executive Office at least ten (10) days prior to Tenant’s occupancy of the premises. Contractors should provide this information at least 48 hours before conducting work.

All certificates of insurance must clearly state insured endorsement manuscript naming:
Brighton Marine, Inc.
77 Warren Street
Brighton, MA 02135

The minimum insurance limits for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation coverage as required by the Center’s general procedures are $1.0 million and $500,000 respectfully.  Please see below an example of a proper Certificate of Insurance.
